Grade Three Hospital
( Number of hospital beds: 500+ )
- Assigned to hospitals that provide specialized medical treatment to a population in several regions and responsible for carrying out medical education and scientific research
- Refers to Hospitals at Country and higher levels
- It has three sub-grades and Grade Three (A) is the best among all grading
Grade Two Hospital ( Number of hospital beds: 100+ to less than 500 )
- Assigned to hospitals that provide general medical treatment for a population in several communities and responsible for carrying out scientific research to a certain extent
- Refers to Regional Hospitals
- It has three sub-grades and Grade Two (A) is better than Grade Two (B) and Grade Two (C) in terms of facilities, technological infrastructure and quality of medical treatment etc.
Grade One Hospital ( Number of hospital beds: less than 100)
- Assigned to hospitals that provide prevention, healthcare and rehabilitation services for a small population within a community
- Refers to Rural Township Hospitals
